Smudge Philosophy

Smudge provides a individual centered approach to art making for children 2-9 years old using a variety of media.  Our studio is set up in stations which enable children to explore art in a relaxed setting and therefore create at their own pace.  Art making can be messy (which is fun) and we encourage children to come in comfortable clothes but we do have smocks they can wear.  Our stations are constantly changing in order to maximize participation and focus on self-expression.  Smudge is a fun, safe, and supportive environment to develop and explore your artistic side appropriate to your developmental needs.  Although we sometimes do specific projects, the end result will reflect their expression and ideas.

What to do

There is quite a lot of things to do at Smudge! You can explore Smudge and experience art all around you! Smudge does afterschool care as well. To experience Smudge for over one day. When is your birthday? Smudge does do birthday parties. You can even choose the theme.

Events & Workshops

Walk-in

This gives you the chance to walk into Smudge and explore all of the activities while also being able to take home your very own art piece. Walk-in does not require any pre-scheduled appointment.
